Diastar Inc. traces back to humble beginnings in India, where past generations laid the groundwork for what would eventually be a successful diamond house. For over five generations, the Jhaveri family has been committed to serving the needs of diamond wholesalers & independent jewelers around the globe. From rough procurement and processing to jewelry manufacturing... we do it all!
Diastar Inc. is vertically integrated which makes us proficient, efficient, and affordable. Headquartered in Houston, TX – with satellite offices, diamond cutting facilities, and jewelry manufacturing facilities in Surat & Mumbai, India – we are able to produce large volumes and offer consistent supply to wholesalers and retailers alike. We seek long term relationships with all of our clients, thus values, ethics, and customer service are most important to us.

THE TIMELINE
1990
Founded by Chetan
With a dream and some determination, Chetan and Shefali moved from Mumbai, India to Chicago Illinois to lay the roots of their small business. He quickly realized he was not meant for cold weather and decided to move Diastar's headquarters to Houston, TX. We still operate from the iconic diamond district in the city.
2010
We expand into jewelry
After successfully making a name in loose diamonds, Chetan decides to expand his offerings to include high quality diamond jewelry. This is a calculated risk he took because he was able to procure conflict-free, certified and non-certified diamonds straight from the manufacturers.
2014
Parth joins the business
After graduating from Texas A&M and completing his jewelry manufacturing training in Surat, India, Parth (Chetan's son) joins the business. This father-son duo becomes unstoppable.
2022
Joined the RJO family
In 2022, Diastar Inc. debuted at the RJO tradeshow for the first time! The RJO family has been extremely warm and welcoming, and we love the connections we've made here.
